A free leveling guide addon for World of Warcraft: Forever: step-by-step routes with a waypoint arrow and quest automation, planned by a program from how long every quest, kill and walk takes, and corrected by everyone's play data.
Routes
Predicted time to each route's top level, grinding included, re-planned from everyone's play data: daily during the beta, weekly after launch. The pill shows the change over the past 7 days.
6 routes · levels 1–25 · 8 characters' play data · 57 quests located from play
What changed in the routes
- Added: Dwarven Digging, Gathering Leather, Preparation for Ceremony, Sparring Match and 3 more
- Dropped: A Task Unfinished, Break Sharptusk!, Grace of An'she and Mu'sha, Chakuyak
- Moved the hunting spot for: Dangers of the Windfury
- Re-ordered the route (17 steps in a new place)
- Sharing the Land now waits until level 7: the Palemane gnoll packs were too much at level 5-6
- The Battleboars and Rite of Strength: the pin now points between the boars and the Bristleback camp, where both are hunted
- Hunting steps that cover several quests point at the middle of all their areas, not the first quest's
- 'On the way' hints now track the live objectives of those quests
Send your play data
The addon quietly records how fast you level: fight and step times, and where quests start, end
and happen. Brand-new Forever quests are missing from every database, so this is how the routes
learn them. Type /boost export in game, press Ctrl+C, and paste it here.
The export holds your class, race, levels, fight and step times and the quests you played. It holds no character, realm or account names, and you can read every line before sending. Privacy.
When to send an export
- Best: when you finish a guide, e.g. on reaching level 10, 15 or 20. Each export holds that guide's step times from start to finish, which is what the planner checks itself against.
- Or every few hours of play. The addon keeps your most recent 400 fights; play much longer than that between exports and the oldest fights drop out. Level totals, step times and quest spots are kept for good.
- Always before you delete or stop playing a character.
- Any time you've done brand-new Forever quests. Where you found their mobs and items is the data nobody else has yet.
The most useful play is ordinary play that follows the guide. Grouped play is welcome too, but
solo fights tell the routes the most about kill speed. No need to /reload or log out first,
and sending again later is fine: each export includes everything before it.
Get it
Coming soon on CurseForge and Wago. Copy the BoostedXP folder into
World of Warcraft/_classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns, then type /boost in game.
It picks up wherever your character stands (/boost guide current does it again any time).
How to use it
- Follow the top step. The window shows what to do now, then a line, then what's coming up in gray. The arrow points at the current step; steps tick off by themselves when the game says they're done.
- Read the "On the way" hints. When a quest's mobs or items are on your path to the next quest giver, the step says so: pick them up as you walk instead of coming back.
- Let it accept and turn in quests. It only touches quests in the next few steps and never
picks a quest reward for you. Hold Shift while talking to an NPC to do it yourself, or turn it off
with
/boost auto off. - Off the route?
/boost nextskips a step and/boost backgoes back. A skipped quest that a later quest needs comes back on its own. If you've played elsewhere,/boost guide currentfinds the guide and step that fit your level, quests and location. - Watch your pace. The window's title says whether you're ahead or behind the planned time. Behind is fine: it's exactly the kind of thing the routes learn from.
- Something's wrong? Stand where it should be and type
/boost whereplus a short note (/boost where weapons here). The spot goes into your next export.
Type /boost help for every command, including /boost font <size>
for bigger text.
